You can find several beautiful wine regions in California. From Sonoma in the North, to the less familiar Temecula in the warm South. For this Chardonnay, grapes from Lodi and Monterey were used. Which are harvested in the early morning, when it’s still cool. It’s said that this makes the wine taste even better. In any case, this Chardonnay is fresh, exotic, and has notes of citrus and a hint of oak.

An Italian in Argentina, if that doesn't make for an exciting wine... Don Fioravante Sottano settled at the foot of the Andes in 1980 and his winery has since become a household name. All grapes are hand-picked, and you can definitely taste that dedication. The Malbec grape originates in France, but nowadays more than 75% of the Malbec wines are produced in Argentina. The temperature difference between day and night ensures a slow ripening, which results in many aromas in the wine. In this Malbec you will find flavors of coffee, spices, bay leaf, dark chocolate and black berries. The outcome: a heart-warming wine.

Burgundy is one of the true classics among the wine regions. The area is divided into no less than five wine districts, in which dozens of 'wine villages' are located. Do you suppose they actually drink anything else there? Anyhow, this wine is what you would call a classic, sleek Burgundy with a pale, light golden color. With your nose above the glass, you can smell a lot of fruit and the scent of white flowers. If you take a sip, you’ll taste apple, pear, apricot and peach.

A textbook Primitivo: juicy, with lots of ripe red fruit. A memory of a sultry Italian summer evening. The vast majority of Primitivo wines are produced in this region, in the heel of the boot. This grape variety loves heat and drought and grows best in low-lying vineyards. This wine is made from organic grapes. So, without the use of pesticides. That means that this wine is not only tasty, but also much better for the country. A nice thought right? Cheers!
